The Thai Village was the first Thai restaurant in Remuera when it was established on 29 March 1996 and is owned and operated by husband and wife team Muk and Savang Kumjumpol who have extensive experience in the Thai hospitality industry - with Savang cooking in man Asian hotels before coming to Auckland where he cooked as a head chef. More than fourteen years that Thidarat and Savang have been working hard to ensure delicious Thai cuisine is served in a pleasant atmosphere, and with a famous Thai smile.
